The new Hi-Flow filter is a solid carbon block filter. It does not have the ceramic outer shell found on the FRX02/01 filter. This means it is a higher capacity organic filter for applications where microbiological quality is not considered to be a threat but high organics, heavy metals or taste and odour problems are foremost.

The Hi-Flow filter has the capability to remove:

Chlorine
Organics
Taste
Odour
Colour
Heavy Metals (including lead)

The Triflow®160 has replaced the Hi-Flow – TF1609PB filter as part of our renaming strategy. This has been done to help customers to more clearly identify genuine Triflow System Filters.


It leaves the essential minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, unaffected.
