The AVX02 is the “universal” cartridge for the Triflow system; it has been designed to accommodate the requirements of the majority of water quality conditions that are likely to be encountered. However, where there are specific or unusual requirements, alternative Katadyn cartridges are available to replace or complement the AVX02.

The AVX02 Cartridge has the capability to remove:

Pathogenic bacteria
Cysts
Turbidity
Chlorine
Organics
Heavy metals (including lead)
Taste
Odour
Colour

It leaves the essential minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, unaffected.

 

Please be aware when ordering this filter, the threaded outlet is different to that on the FRX02. The AVX02 has a large O ring at the base of the outlet, where as the FRX02 had two small O rings. It is essential that you purchase the correct filter as the AVX02 filter is not compatible in newer systems.
