Our Filter Cartridges

All of our filter cartridges are exclusively developed and manufactured in Switzerland by Katadyn, the world-leader in filtration products. Clients include the International Red Cross, NATO, UNICEF and other international agencies.

One of the most important elements in the cartridge is the bacteriostatic silver impregnated in the outer ceramic shell. The silver impregnated in the cartridge’s ceramic casing acts as a bacteriostat effectively reducing the growth of micro-organisms, while an activated carbon core and micro-porous ceramic components remove tiny contaminants and impurities from tap water that are as small as 0.2 of a micron in diameter.
